All,
Very few departures for any American port have survived. There may be some
for Tampa but I believe they do not cover the date you mentioned.
The best way to check is to go to www.archives.gov ; go to Publications and
click on the microfilm catalogue. You will arrive at an Order page, but do
not let that stop you; all catalogs generically are for ordering, but that
doesn't mean you have to order anything!
Click on the search microfilm button, then on the next screen you can place
keywords "Tampa departures" or alternatively, click on "Advanced search" and
in the form enter 85 after "Record Group". This second method will bring up
all microfilms of the U.S. citizenship and Immigration Service including all
passenger lists available. (All surviving passenger lists have been
microfilmed and are in the National Archives; I believe that they are all
now available at Ancestry.com which should be accessible through your local
family history center; most are also available through LDS, although some
more recent ones may still be in the accession and cataloguing pipeline.)
If you don't find it there. It does not exist. (I have not checked it for
you.)
