I'm a new subscriber, and I hope the Horry County Floyds have been well
documented on this list. I am interested in Samuel Floyd, b. abt 1791, who
married Ava Jane Nichols and migrated to MS. It has been suggested that
Samuel may have been the son of Frederick Floyd, but I have no solid
evidence to support this. There seem to be a number of Floyd families in
Horry County at the time of my Samuel, and I've been unable to sort them
out. I'm hoping someone else has been able to do so.

I would love to hear from anyone with information about the Horry County
Floyds that would help sort them out and identify their family lines.
