Mrs. Jessie E. Brisbin, 82, 2745 Melgert Place, Sarasota, died Tuesday at her residence.

Born in Painesville, Ohio, she came to Sarasota in 1963 from Lyndhurst, Ohio. She was a member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church in Sarasota.

She leaves her husband, Jack R. Brisbin; a son, Jack W. Brisbin of Millersburg, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Robarts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lewis E. Trotter officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sarasota Memorial Park.

(Ed. note: Mrs. Brisbin was born December 14, 1895, per the Social Security Death Index, and her maiden name was DAY, per Lake County, OH Marriage Records, Vol. 15, p. 159, Lic. # 317)
