I believe the following are children of GORDON FORREST and JULIA RYAN/HALE.
Gordon was a son of JAMES FORREST and MAZIE GORDON of Meigs Co. OH and Ozark
Co. MO.

These five children all seem to have left Missouri circa 1880 and scattered
to Iowa, Colorado and California.
Below is a summary of what is known. If anyone connects or has info, I'd
appreciate hearing from you.

(1) MALINDA FORREST married William Coal/Cole.

(2) ADALINE FORREST was born January 01, 1850 in TN, and died December
25, 1916 in Lamoor, CA, buried Hampton Cem, Hampton, Franklin Co., Iowa. She
married BENJAMIN FRANKLIN FERRIS November 14, 1870 in Newton Co., MO. The
couple lived in Butler Co., IA and Franklin Co., IA, 1880-1920.

Children of ADALINE FORREST and BENJAMIN FERRIS are:

i. JOHN C. FERRIS, b. 1872, MO.
ii. BENJAMIN FRANKLIN FERRIS, b. 1874, Rock Springs, WY.
iii .MILLIE/MILLICENT FERRIS, b. 1877, IA.
iv. ERNEST W. FERRIS, b. November 1879, IA.
v. LULU FERRIS, b. 1882, Hampton, IA; m. JOSEPH W. BARRY.
vi. ADA LEONE FERRIS, b. 1884, Hampton, IA.

(3) MARGARET "MAG" FORREST, b. 1854; m. W.C. "CASH" SHIELDS.

(4) LUCINDA FORREST was born December 1855 in MO/IL, and died March 17,
1922 in Salida, Chaffee Co. CO, buried Fairview Cemetery. She married THOMAS
W. ESTES September 13, 1874 in Newton Co., MO. Lived in Chaffee Co., Co. and
Gunnison Co., CO., 1880-1920. THOMAS W. ESTES wa born and is believed to be
a son of Richard and Caroline (Tatum) Estes.

iii. BESSIE ESTES, b. April 1884, CO.
iv. RICHARD ESTES, b. April 12, 1887, CO; d. August 1968, Longmont, Boulder,
CO.
v. MAUDE ESTES, b. June 1888.
vi. WILETTE A. ESTES, b. September 04, 1892, CO; m. CLARA.

(5) POLK FORREST, b. October 1859, in either IL or MO, died d. March 22,
1936, Williams, Colusa Co., CA, buried in Williams Cemetery. He married MARY
J. THOMPSON October 24, 1881 in Morgan Co., MO. Lived in Iowa 1893-95,
Howard Co. MO in 1900 and in Colusa Co., CA 1910-1930.

Children of POLK FORREST and MARY THOMPSON are:

i. CORA F. FORREST, b. November 11, 1882, MO; d. August 17, 1972, Glenn Co.,
CA.
ii. IDA FORREST, b. April 1883, MO. May have married a Goldstein and lived
in Sacramento.
iii. CHARLES FORREST, b. May 1886, MO.
iv. WILLIAM WILLIE FORREST, b. February 1888, MO. Wife was Olive, children
William E., and Elsie. Lived in Glenn Co., CA.
v. HARRY FORREST, b. April 1893, IA; d. November 22, 1957, Merced Co., CA.
vi. FERN FORREST, b. October 1895, IA. May have married an Ebinger and lived
in Sacramento.
vii. DALLAS FORREST, b. October 1899, MO; d. September 28, 1979, Modesto,
Stanislaus Co CA.
viii. ALBERT FORREST, b. 1904, CA. May have lived in Boise,Ada Co. ID and
wife may have been Cecile Louisa Bridge
ix. HELEN FORREST, b. October 22, 1906, CA.
