Hello to all:
After seeing Bernice Hufnagle Herndon's post, I know we must be of the
same line. She has William Bradford Forsythe m. Esther Ashmore in
Butler Co.,KY, then moving on to Clark Co., IL. I have William Lindley
Ashmore m. Elizabeth (Betsy) Forsythe, daughter of Joseph Forsythe, in
Butler Co., KY, 3 June, 1819. They later came to Coles Co, IL, which
adjoins Clark Co., IL, with many other Ashmores and Forsythes in the
late 1820s or early 1830s. Would appreciate knowing more on the
Forsythe line, and will look for Esther Ashmore in my Ashmore info. Do
