line. You've got some surnames wrong. Starting with JAMES SMITH FORTNER, he
changed his name after leaving Claiborne Co., TN with his family in a
covered wagon. He remembered the tales of HIS grandfather telling the
grandkids how the name was originally FAULKNER but since it was an oral
story, he didn't have the spelling right and changed it to FALKNER - my
