I am searching for information on my Foster line. Any & all information
is much appreciated. I'm glad to share what I have.

Family history has it that two brothers, George and William Foster moved
into KY together (when?). A Casey Co., KY history book entitled "The
Men, Women, Events, Institutions, Lore of Casey County, KY lists George
Foster and Polly Walker's decendants with no dates or places. I believe
I am decended from William (for which no list is in the book), but
cannot make the connection from my G Grandfather, James B. Foster to
William. (The B = Burdett, Burditt, or Burtitt.)
James B. Foster, b 6 Nov 1867 in Virginia, d 23 Mar 1934, buried
at Bethelridge, Casey Co., KY. M Isabelle McAninch 25 Dec 1887.
Children = Herbert, Oras Segal (my grandfather), and Clayton
The family says that James B. Foster's parents died when he was very
young and he was raised by his grandmother (name unknown), and that he
came into KY from VA at age 12-15. He lived with Brole Jones family
until he was grown. I don't know why he didn't go back to VA. Maybe he
didn't have any living family there. If he was related to George and
William, why didn't he live with some of their family instead of
Jones'?
As you can see I really need whatever help I can get. I'm very new to
using the internet so please excuse if this is not "proper". At any
