Elizabeth Foster and Sampson Stephens were married
4/19/1838 in McMinn County, Tenn. They lived in
Monroe County, Tenn. until 1872 when they settled in
Bartow County, Ga.
Elizabeth Foster was born in Kentucky ca 1817 and
both her parents were born in Virginia.
Are any of you researching Fosters in Kentucky or
Tenn. during the time periods I mentioned? Would
love to hear from you.
My library has marriage books for Tennessee for the
early 1800's to around 1870 - be glad to do lookups
as time permits for anyone.
