James Foster b1807 NC, OH, or VA (per census) d1889 KS married Margaret Pry
b1814 OH d pre 1880 KS (dau. Of Jacob and Mary (Bonnett) Pry) on 12/18/1833 in
Pike Co., OH.

They moved to Columbia Twp., Wapello Co., IA by 1856. In 1870, they are in
Jefferson Co., KS.

Children:
Robert b1837 OH d 1893 St. Joseph, MO, married (1) Mary J. Powers 1856 (2)
Partena Lasater 1868 KS
Sarah b1838 IL married Geo. Lewis in 1863, Wapello Co., IA
John S. b 1840 OH d1921 IA married Sarah I. Wilson
Mary E. b 1850 OH married (1) Wm. Lasater (2) Martin Davis
Washington b 1856 IA
Rachel b1858 IA
George b 1860 IA married Lovella Jordan

There are many Fosters in the Pike Co., OH area. Only John (b1815 married
Martha Loveless) and Robert b1801 (married Patty Hammond), appear to be
related to James Foster - they lived in the same township, they sell land to
the same individual and move on about the same time, and they named their
children after each other. We do not now where John and Robert Foster moved
to.
