Michele, I also have some mysterious FOSTER childen, Here is my
query:

Subject: FOSTER Children; WV,USA/ OH,USA/ MD,USA; 1838-1879

The following children were listed in The Thomas ROUSE Family Bible.
Thomas ROUSE lived in George's Run, Jefferson County, OH. The ROUSE
family moved to George's Run, OH from Holiday's Cove,WV. in 1936.  
Need to find their line. The children are;   Robert FOSTER b 11 Nov
1838, Eliza James FOSTER b 7 Oct 1841, John FOSTER b 1 Jul 1844 d 23 Jul
1856, and William James FOSTER b 10 Jan 1847 d Nov 1879.   Who were
their parents?
  Bob Hewitt   Hollisaysburg,Pa.
