Glad to hear from someone with family from Onondaga County. My family has
been trying to
trace this line beyond Allen Foster for many years. Two great aunts tried
with little success. The theory is that we go back to Christopher Foster who
arrived on the Abigal in 1635. I have only seen two of his lines traced to a
present day generation through Hannah and Joseph.

Our Allen seems to have appeared in NY spontainously. Below is the direct
line from Allen to me.

Anyone have any idea who Allen's were?
