Hi, any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated! And to
Emily C., please could you send me a message again. A virus had hit my
computer on and wiped out my system and I have a good portion of my
database re-entered and would like to send it and the letter copies to
you! So I don't have your e-mail address. Thanks again all!
My Forster/Foster line starts in Ahogihill, County Antrim, Ireland
about 1670 with a John Forster who died in 1747 in Derry, Paxtang
township, Dauphin county, Pennsylvania.
To narrow down to the search for the branch I am looking for I will
start with a James Forster b. abt 1724 d abt 1755, Paxtang Township,
Dauphin County Pennsylvania and an Elizabeth Espy b. abt 1743 same
place. Their children were:

1. 1.James Forster b. abt 1744 d. 1789 Lycoming Cnty, Pa. m. to Dorcas
Forster in 1763.
2. 2. John Forster, b. abt 1746 m. Jane Beatty (note he is not
Captain John Forster of Buffalo Valley,?.
3. 3. Stephen Forster, b abt 1748, Paxtang township, Dauphin Cnty,
Pa. d. abt 1792 in Turbot Township, Northumberland Cnty, Pa.
4. 4. Mary Forster b. abt 1749, Paxtang twnship, Dauphin Cnty, Pa. m.
(Bucher) Moses Kirk, November 14 1765
5. 5. William Forster, b. abt 1751 londonderry (lancaster) Dauphin
County, Pa., d. 1789 Upper Paxton Pa.
6. 6. Frances Forster b. abt 1753

At this point I follow Stephen's lineage:
Stephen married Mary Chambers daughter of John Chambers and Margaret?
their children were as follows:
Chambers Forster
Stephen Forster
Thomas Forster
This is where my documented information ends and I skip at least two
generations to a Harriet A. Foster born in Dayton Ohio in 1844 to unknow
parents.
I have letters documenting from 1803- 1816 that were written to Chambers
Forster from his brothers and cousins Joseph Foulk, Margaret (Foulk)
Priestly and Alen Stewart.
If you find any information pertaining to these individuals could you
please let me know. Thank you so much for your time! Sincerely, Linda
Widener
