Orrin or Rosina passed down the red hair to their descendants.
Wonder how many Foster families have a progenitor with red hair?

I don't know who my progenerator (great grandfather) from the Foster line
is....but it is reasonable to assume that he is from a line with a gene for
red hair. I have cousins with red hair from this line and my sister has red
hair.
All I know about my great grandfather is that he married Elizabeth Reed
before 1895, had one child, William Mack Foster, and died before 1910.
Elizabeth Reed married again to Andrew Stoots and died in 1926. William Mack
Foster took his step father's name and became William Mack Stoots. He died
in 1931 having had 9 (or 10) children. This happened in Greene Co. and
Washington Co., TN. If anyone has information about them, I'd love to hear
about it.
