Have been searching for information on Robert FOSTER for more years than I
care to mention. He was born 4 Feb. 1816 in TN--don't know what county.
He married Sarah "Sallie" DAWSON on 22 April 1834--but don't know where.
Their children were: James Allen b. 1834 in Benton Co., MO; John M. b. 1836
in Benton Co., MO; Elender Jane b. 1838 in Benton Co., MO, d. 1839 there;
William Anderson b. 1840 in Benton Co., MO; Willoughby D. b. 1843 in Benton
Co., MO, d.1848 there; Jesse Gilbert b. 1845 Warsaw, Benton Co., MO; George
Glazner b. 1848 Benton Co., MO; Benjamin Franklin b. 1850 MO/TX?; Charles
B. b. 1857 MO/TX?; Sarah E. b. 1860 in TX.
They came to CA in 1864, to Mendocino Co. in 1866.
I have no idea who Robert's parents may have been.
