Nathan Foster, who married Elizabeth (or Eliza) Pitzer in Botetourt
County, VA, in 1795, is the earliest ancestor I've found. Nathan's
marriage bond was signed by Elisha Foster.

Nathan, with his family and the families of at least two of Elizabeth's
siblings, settled in Christian County, KY, in 1808. Descendants are
still there. Nathan named his sons John, Elisha and Cary A. Pitzer
Foster.

My next project will be a search for Nathan Foster's antecedents. Do
you have any notes which are possibly related to Nathan's ancestors?
