Hello Everyone, I am new to this list. Do you have any folk
with Irish Foster Heritage on this list?
My Dad, Ernest William FOSTER was born in Dublin in 1888 to
Martha RUDD and Allen FOSTER who was a member of the Royal
Irish Constabulary from 1870-84. From these records I found
that Allen was a native of Abbeyleix, Co Laois, age 20 when joining
and Protestant. His Father was John who married Martha RUDD
in Wexford in 1878.

The closest I have come to his details are from St Michael's
Church in Abbeyleix but nothing really fits although
Allen could have put his age up or down to join. There is
an Allen FOSTER born to Allen/Caroline, 1843 at The Warren
and except for the date he could be the one.
Dad always told us that some of family migrated to Canada.
I would like to know of anyone who may be researching this family and

Am I at liberty to post here the Foster Information that I have collected.
