Dear Eleanor and All;
I've fallowed the list for some time and your queery is the first that
fallows our family line. Although recent info doesn't seam to leave any
blanks there could be others that we don't know of. Our family goes back
to a Roland Foster who may of been an emigrant from England. He had a
son William born 1784 in Sligo
Married 1812 to Elizabeth Jackson in Sligo
died 1852 in Canada
One of his sons John Foster is my Great Grandfather. I have most of the
descendants of William and Elizabeth but but don't know if William had
any siblings. Yours could easily be a descendant of one of William's
brothers. The family as long as I've known were rabit Methodists so
being yours were prodestant there is a possible connection. The family
of W & E moved around Ireland a lot as their children were born in Sligo
Kilkenny and Belfast that we know of. If you see any simularities we can
compare notes to track things down. Willing to exchange any and all
information.
Hugh
