Hi ALL

Seen a lot of information on KY and TN FOSTERS.
As I have hit a brick wall and it has been a long time since I posted, so I
will try again

Looking for the parents of James F. Foster. I believe he just maybe from
OUTER SPACE.

First trace of him is the 1860 Yazoo County, MS census. According to that
census record he was born in SC. As I have not found anyone who would claim
him as theirs, a brick wall has formed.

Supposedly he came from SC to MS with a his brothers, a sister and a cousin.
I found a land record with a James Franklin Foster purchasing that land in
Madison County, MS along with a Truett Foster. This may or may not be my
James.

His brothers were.
Anthony Young Foster born also in SC c 1821
Thomas Foster
Charles Henry Foster who died in LA in 1898
William Foster

His cousin was Jesse Foster who married Lucy Ann Leopard in MS

Family stories say the FOSTER'S were of Indian blood. Choctaw or Cherokee.
More stories indicate that my FOSTER'S were kin to the composer STEPHEN
COLLINS FOSTER.

Some stories say our FOSTER'S came from Kentucky or TN.

I am beginning to believe the outer space story. IF any one can connect or
