Hello everyone,

I am looking for a missing sibling of my great-grandmother. My gr-grandmother was Amanda Belle Foster, the daughter of Granville Cecil Foster and Nancy Jane Davis of Wayne County, KY. When Granville and Nancy migrated to MO, two daughters remained in the Wayne/Pulaski County areas. Family researchers know that at this time their daughter Lucy was married but have not been able to locate her marriage information. After much searching, Amanda's obituary was finally located in which a sister named Lucy Dorton of Somerset, KY is listed as surviving. I have searched through various online sources but have been unable to locate anything on Lucy. It is possible that her last name may be spelled incorrectly in the obituary since several other names and personal information contained errors. I don't believe that the family maintained much communication between MO and KY so it is even possible that Lucy was already deceased at the time of Amanda's death.

If anybody has any information regarding Lucy or other areas that I could search I would greatly appreciate a reply.
