Hello Foster List,

I am looking for any information on or links to my paternal
grandmother and her parents. My grandmother was Louvenia Malnetti
(Netti) Foster wife of James Madison Baggett. They were born in
Alabama and moved to east Texas near the little town of Maude
shortly before 1900. Netti was the daughter of Balus Augusta
Foster, b. 30 July 1850, d. 8 Nov. 1922, burial in Maude Cemetery.
Balus was married to Mary Loucinda ( Tennie) Shaver, b. 16 Dec.
1858, d. 6 Aug. 1933.

Balus had at leat one sister. His sister was Elizabeth Foster
who married Elias Baggett also from Alabama. Maybe Coosa
County. We believe they had at least two sons. (1) James Madison
Baggett, my paternal grandfather. and (2) John Baggett. There may
have been other children.

So.....when my grandfather married my grandmother that made
her aunt Elizabeth her mother-in-law.
