looking for information on a Silas Foster that was probably born in
Monroe Va{now WV}. I have no dates for him or marriage or anything
at all. He is listed as an UNCLE to some of my Foster's in the
will/estate of their mother Catherine Rice who was married to
Robert Foster. Robert was born abt. 1805 in Monroe....I believe his
parents to be James Foster & Elizabeth Humpries but cannot prove
this. In Mrs. Ulaki/Greene's book she has his parents as Robert
Foster & Sarah Unknown but seing as how that Robert died in
1767 or something like that this couldn't be possible. Robert died
March 1854 in Jackson Co.Ohio. Does any of this sound familiar to
anyone?
