Subject: Dr. Foster of Greene County -- correction to previous post

I made an incorrect assumption in my recent note "1876 letter from
Lovick Pierce names children of George Wells and Julia Elizabeth
(Flournoy) Foster."
I assumed Lovick was referring to George Wells Foster's children
when he wrote "Dr. Foster's children are all there, except Julia..."
I went back to some information about Thomas Flournoy Foster,
Lovick's brother-in-law who was a Congressman, and found that he
died in 1848. So, he couldn't have been the Thomas F. Foster to
whom Lovick refers in the 1876 letter, when he writes "Thomas F.,
the only son, has returned from Louisiana and is running the old farm."
So... who was the "Dr. Foster" in Lovick Pierce's letter who had
the following children: Julia (Foster) Willy, Celestia Foster,
Antoinette Foster, and Thomas F. Foster?
