Hi, Don't know if this will help, but I have Theobald (David) Fouts Jr. married to Elizabeth Hoover, married abt. 1765. Their first child Susanna Fouts b. abt 1766. Could it be that your David Burkett was also born in or about 1766? and not in 1755?
