It should be noted that while several old records have listed Noel Fouts (b: Aug.25.1785 ~ d: Apr.09.1866) name as "Noah", his headstone in the Groves Twp (Manteno) Cemetery, Shelby Co. Iowa, clearly states his name as "Noel Fouts".
I have photographed a good number of headstones in this cemetery & can e-mail copies to those wishing them.
Please note: this cemetery, formerly the "Manteno Cemetery" has been renamed the "Groves Township Cemetery"
