I can't help but wonder if this fellow isn't descended right from the man
who
had the same name that my sister-in-law found in the 1790 census. See
below
for a copy of part of a post that I sent out recently to this group.

4) 1790 census- Foxborough, Suffolk County, MASS

Josiah FOX b Middlesex County also in household:
2 boys under 16 and 3 women

Abyah (or Abijah) FOX also in household: 2 males
over 16, 1 male under 16 and 4 females

David FOX also in household: 3 men over 16, 3 males
under 16 and 4 women

Isaac FOX also in household: 5 women

Joel FOX also in household: 1male aver 16, 3 males
under 16 and 2 females
