you are not stupid!!! but i will try to humor you!
do you like slap stick or striaght face!
all kidding aside the real word is AhnenTafel. Tufel for short!
if you look in your genealogy program users guide under the above word
you should find what you are looking for.
How it is used is example
I would be individual 1.
my father is individual 2.
My mother is 3. my grand father on my fathers side is 4.
my grand mother on my fathers side is 5 My grand father on my mothers
side is 6.
my granfather on my mothers side is 7. and my great grand father on my
fathers fathers side is 8 ECtra. it gives a complete pedigree as
numbered.
