Desola Lee Crouch Fox, 91, of Leesburg, died Nov. 2 from heart failure and complications of a stroke in Loudoun Hospital Center at Lansdowne.


Services will take place Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Aldie United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Sharon Forbes officiating. Mrs. Fox will be buried in Ebenezer Cemetery in Bloomfield.

She was born April 13, 1912, in Hiddenite, N.C., to the late Larkin and Mollie Beth Crouch, who lived in the Herndon area. Mrs. Fox was a devoted mother and homemaker and an avid quilter. She made many quilts for her family and the Aldie Volunteer Fire Co.

She was married to the late John Wesley Fox, who died in May 1999.

Survivors include five sons, Col. Wesley Fox (USMC retired) of Blacksburg, Ray Fox and James Fox, both of Leesburg, David Fox of Aldie, and Elmer Fox of Sterling; five daughters, Betty Monroe of Round Hill, Dot Iden of Aldie, Ruby Fox of Arlington, Molly Cordaro of Falls Church, and Linda Flynn of Leesburg; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent to the Aldie United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 343, Aldie, VA 20105; or the Aldie Volunteer Fire Co.

Arrangements were by Royston Funeral Home of Middleburg

now i need her husband John Wesley Fox , born July 14, 1903 he is in our line of fox cousins.
i was misled that he was still alive but he passed may 11 1999.
