Hello:

My family has used both the VALLOIS and VALOIS spelling. I am back to about
1580 but they then had a different name (BOIVAL,BOYVAL) but used VALOIS as a
dit. Eventually the dit became the name. Because they were comediens for at
least 3 generations, children were born in several places-Hannover, Dauphine,
Strasbourg, Lyon, Rastatt, Luneville and places in between no doubt. Since I
cannot account for all the descendants, I am writing to ask if any of these
clues may connect to another VALOIS/VALLOIS family?
