My Canadian grandfather, PETER RICHARD CARTER, was in World War 1 in the Lord Strathcona's Cavalry, serving in France. During that time he stayed with a family in Bethencourt sur Mer. I have a picture of my grandfather with the family. The family's name if unknown and I am looking for them. The picture is of my grandfather, another soldier, an older woman, a younger woman, 2 girls and a boy. I would guess the girls are about 12 and 8 years old, dressed alike in checked dresses. The boy could be about 7 years of age. If you know anything, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.
