I am also a descendant of Louis Henri from the New Zealand branch of the Le Cren family. Can provide some info from our side but like yourself have not found much out about our forefather as yet. I have seen a record which indicates the place we may be looking for is St. Mayeux in Brittany but that still may not be his place of origin. I am currently living in Paris and have only just begun my own search so am a novice at this. Please (anyone) email me at for/with any further info which may be helpful.
