My GGG Grandfather Louis Marion was born in France on Feb. 2, 1843... I know he came to the US in his early twenties, family stories say he came as a Soldier, but that has yet to be confirmed. I would very much like to find anything linking him back to a specific area in France, as I have been unable to find a death certificate for him indicating where in France he came from. If you have a Louis Marion in your tree, please contact me.
