no suggestions - anyone else got any ideas?

Just wondering if you would mind looking up
http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/GUS/1848/Births/September/UKD-01/S-Z/ and
checking out page 0261 - there is a diagonal line with a 'x' and what
appears to be a christian name but no other details - if they are trying to
say to move the STEWART A__ed Lee Halifax (which is the entry above where
the diagonal line begins) down to that point, it would be out of sequence
anyway. Would like to know what you make of it.
