I've had another thought. Why not simply move the Search, Information Join
FreeBMD, and Transcriber's Page 'buttons' above the typewritten 'Welcome
to FreeBMD' That way the ad stays prominent and doesn't lose anything by
being surrounded by other logs, but the appropriate tools for FreeBMD are
also equally prominent, so more likely to be used. The welcome is still
visible and depending on Screen size so is the bit about nit transcribing
the whole index. Most folks have to scroll tog et further down the page , so
the bottom of the page wouldn't matter so much. The important bits would be
visible whatever the screen resolution and the Search button being bigger
and more vibrant than the ancestry search button should get people using
our page rather than getting inadvertently diverted.
