This will not do.

Steve's ideas merited discussion, but as I've pointed out they could have
been better presented, and he ought to have accepted the fact that Allan and
Jeff raised potential serious issues with far better grace.

Posts to this list must not, under any circumstances, make personal attacks
upon other list members.
