I would like to acknowledge the hard work that Allan Raymond does working
with all of us 'ornery types. We have complained long and hard about the
quality of scans as have my transcribers complained to me. It was very
frustrating not being able to do anything about them.

We have spent 18 months in the wilderness of poor quality handwritten scans
and most of us have become quite expert at deciphering chicken scratchings
on the images. Let's hope things get better.
