I am looking for the parents of William FREEMAN, b. ca. 1798 in TN,
according to census records, married Mary Elizabeth WARD, born ca.
1798 SC, family moved to Conway County, Arkansas and was in the 1840
census there; in 1850 Mary was apparently widowed and living with
what look like a couple of older sons born in IL and a flock of
Arkansas-born younger kids--probably grandkids. Anybody know this
group, and who the parents of that younger set of kids might be?
Anybody have any suggestions as to where in TN I might look for
William Freeman?
