I'm posting to this list and hope this help some other's with their
FREEMANS.

Please delete if it doesn't fit in your TREE.

I'm working on these pieces of my puzzle, and thinking out loud:

David P. FREEMAN father of William Dickerson FREEMAN b.Apr 8, 1839;
Lawrence Co., OH.

I have been looking at the census for the 1800's for Lawrence Co.,
Fayette, OH, which are following my post.

Am I correct in assuming the following:
that,

* All the David's were born abt. 1802, that I'm concerned about.

* There are two families which are involved in the same timeline and
both could contain MY DAVID. But, only one contains MY WILLIAM?

* I believe the David P. and Nancy census 1850 which contains a child
named William could be my family?

*The other David P. with an ALFRED, census 1860, 1870 & 1880, doesn't
contain a William and I think that (this David) got remarried, see
census 1860(no wife named) and 1870(wife named Elizabeth).

*Both David's came from VA.

*Now assuming all this is correct(?) David P. FREEMAN's parents would be
William Freeman b. VA d.1848 Lawrence Co.,OH and Sarah Parker b.1779
d.1860
