Saw your reference to Holman FREEMAN. The following was printed in Freeman
Forebears Chapter 14 Miscellaneous Freeman Records.

Goochland County, Virginia
A.1.John Freeman, possibly a member of the Gloucester-Spottsvania family,
married Sarah (?), possibly a Holman, born 1700, died May 2, 1789, "in the
89th year of her age." "An honest old woman" (Douglas Register). They lived
in Goochland County, but his body was taken back to be buried in Louisa.
Among issue:
A.1.1.Holman Freeman, married (?) Cox of Amelia Co. Among issue:
A.1.1.1.Frances Freeman, born June 13, 1756.
A.1.2.Titus Freeman, born ca. 1730, died 1801.i
A.1.3.John Freeman Jr., married Christian Rory. Among issue:
A.1.3.1.Ann Freeman, born April 8, 1771, married Absalon Melton in 1797.
A.1.3.2.Frances Freeman born June 16, 1773.
A.1.3.3.Josiah Freeman born October 3, 1775.
A.1.3.4.probably Sarah Freeman married Joseph Johnson with John Freeman as
security.
A.1.4.Robert Freeman married Sarah Hill. Issue:
A.1.4.1.Wyatt Freeman born December 28, 1780.
A.1.4.2.Thomas Freeman born September 9, 1784.
A.1.4.3.George Freeman born October 8, 1786.
A.1.5.Isaac Freeman married Barbara Gray. They moved to Goochland County
where they died. He was a drummer and matross of the 1st Virginia Artillery
in the Revolution. Issue:
A.1.5.1.John Freeman born January 23, 1781.
A.1.5.2.William Freeman born March 29, 1783.
A.1.5.3.Alexander Freeman born November 24, 1785.
A.1.5.4.Racheal Gray Freeman born August 30, 1788.
A.1.5.5.Sally Freeman born May 5, 1791.
A.1.5.6.Lucy Freeman born May 18, 1793.
A.1.5.7.Barbara Freeman born January 5, 1795.

I believe I am descended from these Freeman's. Holman Freeman had a son
James Freeman, b. c1749, d. c1819. There is good circumstantial evidence
that this James Freeman (wife Rhoda) was the father of Littleberry Freeman
who moved to Montgomery County, then Tallapoosa County, Alabama. I have a
bit more info on this branch if interested.
