Hello Jerri,
I have the same line as you. Cuzzin', down to the marriage and children of
John and Mercy Prence Freeman. Your ancestor is Edmund and mine was his brother
Nathaniel.
Nathaniel married Mary Howland. Their daughter Liddiah [Lydia] brought the two
Freeman lines together [Old Edmund and Samuel] when she married Elisha Freeman
[this was the first Freeman to go to Nova Scotia.[Liddiah died and is buried in
Rochester,MA. but Elsha took most of their eight children to Nova Scotia.]
I don't have anything or anyone recorded for your Edmund. I have him married to
[1] Ruth Merrick with one child, Ruth, whom I have no data on at all, not even
a birth date.
Then I have Edmund remarrying [2] Sarah Mayo...but I have nothing there either.
No dates nor any children listed. I have a note that they had 12 children, but
I don't have them listed. I know have your Experience though! <g>
