Yes Billie,
It is usually a record of the persons name
his current address, how long he lived there,
his birthdate and where born
his death date,
his occupation,
his spouse
his parents and
mothers maiden name AND where they were born,
name of informant, name of Doctor attending, cause of death
But personal information is only as good as the knowledge of the
informant.
and where he was buried.
Be sure you note the name of the funeral home who handled the burial.
They often have a lot of information not on the Death certificate.
Ususally they will give it over the phone,
and usually are real nice to deal with
Happy Hunting, Helen
