Dear Ken,

Is your Elizabeth Freeman any relation to the John Freeman who married
Elizabeth Buffington? I have a John Freeman (the only Freeman from that
line) that was born in about 1675, and married Elizabeth Buffington, born in
1689. She may have been born (or lived) in Chester County, Pennsylvania, as
well as he.

They had 5 children:

1. John Freeman, who married Hannah Thornton (who had Daniel Freeman who
married Jane Wood and had another John Freeman who married Charity Wells)

2. Nathaniel Freeman
3. Samuel Freeman
4. Judith Freeman
5. Sarah Freeman

I know nothing more about those descendants. My Freeman line is actually
another line. Richard Buffington Sr, father of Elizabeth Buffington
(above), was my 7th great grandfather, and she was his daughter, so that
John Freeman who married her would have been only related by marriage to my
line.

HOWEVER, I am interested in finding his ancestors and descendants, because
there is always that possibility that he is actually related by blood, on
somewhere else in the lineage. Maybe that line crosses with mine again, is
what I'm trying to say.

I have a site if you want to investigate any of my other Freeman's; mostly
of Southern descent. www.ifreeman.com

PS. I didn't find any Kirkland's in my database, so sorry I can't help you
there.
