Dear Bill Bowen,
I can't help but notice some of the names in your lineage and I wonder if
somehow my ancestors are cousins or brothers/sisters of yours.
For instance, Eleanor Archibald. I have and Archibald Freeman born abt.
1800. In family records it is mentioned he might be a cousin, but he is
currently listed under my 4th great-grandfather as a child.
My 2nd great-grandfather married Mary Lucinda Welch, born in 1834 and was
the daughter of William Welch and Mary Ann Love. Does this ring a bell with
your Welch?
I think once you mentioned a Bailey too. My 2nd great-granduncle was David
Bailey Freeman, and we're still trying to figure where the Bailey came from.
I think we've chatted before and that you've probably scanned my site for
recognizable names, but I not, please do. Do you have I site where I could
browse your Freeman names?
