Hi...

I'm new to the list and am looking
for a g-g-grandmother that is my
"brick wall". I can't seem to
find anything on her after over
a year of research.

Her name was Salina (Selina?)
Freeman. I have a birthdate
for her of 8/28/1813. (unconfirmed)
and a birthplace of Kentucky (again,
unconfirmed). What I DO KNOW
about her is that in April 1835, in
Montgomery County, OH she
married a widower with several
small children by the name of
Thomas Boyd. They lived
in Preble Co, OH where Thomas
Boyd died in 1836. Selina then
married my ancestor, Patrick Shields
in April 1836 in Preble Co. They
had many children together and
lived their entire lives in the Preble
and Darke County areas of Ohio.
Selina died 8/23/1880 in Darke Co, OH
and is buried in Martin Cemetery there.

Does anyone out there researching the
Freeman name have a link with KY/OH?

If you have any help to offer, I'd be
VERY grateful!
