Looking for info. on Samuel B. Freeman and family of Newton Co.
Ga...S.B. was
widowed with 3 children(John Jacob, Nancy and Betsy) he then married
Louisa
Guffin Downs (widow of William(Willis) M. Downs d. 1854) she had two
children
living with her Tinsey Ann Downs b.1847 and Willis Milligan "Mig" Downs
b. 1853.
In 1866 John Jacob Freeman m. Tinsey Ann Downs. Nancy Freeman m. 1869
Dawson Skinner. Betsy Freeman died at an early age sometime in late
1860's or
1870 ?.
Searching for any info on any of these people, especially S. B. Freeman
and where he
might be buried or who his parents might be...they lived in area of Oak
Hill in Newton Co.
