I am trying to research the family of John FREEMAN and
wife Lousia (HURDLE).

John was s/o Samuel FREEMAN from Freeman's Corners a
small non existent hamlet located north and west of the
City of St. Thomas, County of Elgin, Province of Ontario,
Canada.

John and Louisa were thought to have married by 1864
and family story suggests that they left Ontario and lived in
the Province of Manitoba. Either John or Luoisa are on the
1871 Ontario Census.

I am working on local source of information but I've
chosen to also post here in the hopes of finding a
descendant.

Louisa was born in Smithville, Lincoln Co, Ontario in 1846,
and was an older sister to my great grandfather.

Any leads are most appreciated.
