Cornelia was kind enough to explain the meaning of "roll call"...sooooo,
here's information re the Freeman line I'm researching:

Robert and Harriet (maiden name unknown) Freeman...both born in Culpeper Co.,
VA about 1818-1822. The married in Culpeper Co., VA and lived there through
mid to late 1850s when they relocated to Edgar Co., IL. Assumption is that
Harriet died at time of birth of twin daughters in April 1862. After
Harriet's death, Robert Freeman took the younger children and went to KS to
secure land grant. He died in 1869 in Crawford Co., KS. The four youngest
daughters were placed with families in Vernon Co., MO; there may have been
others not yet identified.

Known children of Robert and Harriet Freeman were:

Robert Lewis Freeman m Sara Hutson Weston/Wetson, Edgar Co., IL 1871;
2nd m Sarah Luck 1879, Edgar Co., IL;
Alexander Harrison "Harris" Freeman m Phobe Naselroade, Edgar Co., IL
Sarah Catherine Freeman m Julius Bowers in Lawrence Co., MO;
Anna Elizabeth (Anna Liza) Freeman m Daniel Wells, Edgar Co., IL in late
1860s;
Angelina Freeman m S.C. Wheeler, Crawford Co., KS; she died in childbirth
in Crawford Co., KS 1869;
Harriet (Hattie) Freeman (twin to Belle) m John Stoneburner in MO;
Mary Isabelle "Belle" Freeman (twin to Hattie) m Andrew "Andy" James Mullen,
1882, Vernon Co., MO;
Mary Jane Freeman m John Farris 1867/68, Edgar Co., IL;
J. Davis (David?) Freeman;
Lulu Lavenia Freeman m 1st John McGuire about 1880, 2nd m David Grant,
3rd m Herbert Tucker...all in Vernon Co., MO;

Only recently I learned the parents of Robert Freeman were William Freeman,
Jr. and Mary Lampkin of Culpeper Co, VA; his grandparents were William
Freeman, Sr. and Mary Lee/Story also of Culpeper Co., VA.

If you research the Freemans at all, you are well aware there were bunches of
'em in VA! Documentation has been difficult for me! Any all clues
welcomed!
