Ken,

Yes, I think we have been in touch. I have the Freeman line back to John of
Wake Co., NC. My husband is the Kirkland and yes, I do know of one Isaac
Kirkland, but he was from SC (a nephew to old Tory Moses Kirkland), & served
in the Rev. as a young man. His father Richard came into Edgefield Co., SC
from Fairfield Co., SC, then went into Ga. & died. Isaac went to Ala. and
died there. They can't be the same man, but some folks have actually put on
their web sites that the Isaac from SC went up north (can't remember which
state), but don't believe it! None of the other names are familiar to me.
