Ken,

My ancestor, Casper Freeman, had a daughter named Elizabeth, but she married
a man named
Henry Marx , lived and died in Berks County. She predeceased her parents,
leaving her husband
with 5 children. Henry Marx wasted no time and married Elizabeth's sister
Sarah. I have no birth
date for Elizabeth, but it could be in the mid to late 1780's. I believe
that she was dead by 1829 when
your Naaman was born. I have no Kirklands at all in my files. Sorry.

Armstrong Co. is a long haul from Berks County, especially for that period.
It was the frontier at that time! Armstrong Co. is somewhat NE of Pittsburg.

Jim
