My Freeman line is from Pennsylvania. My grgr grandmother was Catherine
Brooks born in Pa--Family Search says 1818 and died in Iowa. She married
John Brooks in Cedar, Ia. I understand that she and John Brooks are buried
in a country cemetery in Iowa and the headstones have been removed from the
graves and are piled in a fence corner. I have no idea who her parents are
but would like to correspond with anyone who might have Freemans in Pa.
