Myrt, my Freeman line descends from Samuel Freeman b. ca. 1796 in
Pennsylvania and his wife (believed to be Mary). Samuel later moved to
Belle Plaine, Benton Co., Iowa, where he is buried Their children were:

John Freeman, b. ca. 1826 in Ohio
Patrick Henry Freeman b. 6/12/1829 in Miami Co., OH
Malinda Freeman, b. ca. 1830
Mary Freeman, b. ca. 1843

I can't help but wonder if there were other children born between Malinda
and Mary.

Patrick Henry Freeman was my g-g-grandfather who married Rachel Greenlee in
Miami Co. in 1850. The family later moved to Belle Plaine, Benton Co.,
Iowa. After several years on the list and many years of searching
elsewhere, I have been unable to make any connection. It's as though this
family just dropped out of nowhere. Would sure like to find a Freeman
connection.
